About the Role

We are looking for an Account Marketing Specialist to join our Fabrics China Marketing team. In this role, you will serve as a well‑rounded marketer responsible for driving the growth of GORE‑TEX business and brand with customers. You will develop strategic, win‑win brand integrations within customer marketing programs across multiple channels, including retail, social media, training, paid media, and PR etc.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Sales to understand customer business objectives, identify growth opportunities, and drive both sell‑in and sell‑out through value‑adding marketing initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with customer marketing leadership as a strategic brand partner
  • Lead end‑to‑end customer marketing engagement, including annual planning, investment alignment, target setting, and KPI tracking
  • Develop and deliver customized marketing solutions, including content, POS, and training support, leveraging agency partners where appropriate
  • Ensure high‑quality and timely execution of customer marketing plans across all relevant channels
  • Design and execute online and in‑person training programs for customer and retailer sales teams and store staff
  • Collaborate with GORE‑TEX and customer marketing teams to develop product storytelling and amplify messaging through all channels
  • Advocate for customer needs within the GORE‑TEX marketing organization to drive alignment and impact
  • Contribute to the development and execution of seasonal and always‑on regional marketing programs and customer‑led product launches

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in B2C marketing, with exposure to areas such as brand, retail, digital, PR, and event marketing
  • Proven experience driving measurable marketing ROI and business results within limited investment levels
  • Strong knowledge of the local China market and customer landscape; experience in Outdoor or Lifestyle categories required
  • Demonstrated capability to develop marketing plans and execute across multiple channels, including in‑store activations, POS, training, and events
  • Strategic thinking and problem‑solving skills to translate business objectives into effective marketing actions
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and manage conflict in complex environments
  • Sound business judgment and financial acumen to support decision‑making and investment prioritization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
