Job Overview:
Responsibilities include any of the following activities related to the receiving, storing, and/or shipping of materials or finished goods: ensures materials are received from proper vendors, that they are delivered to inventory, and that finished goods are packaged according to specification and shipped in a timely manner. Reviews receipt of all materials to ensure purchase orders are open and the quality of materials received is correct. Ensures the security and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control. Ensures materials are available to meet production schedules and/or products are shipped as per marketing schedules. Maintains documentation to reflect the effectiveness and efficiency of department activities.
Responsibilities:
At the highly skilled support level, this role provides advanced support by leading the daily work of a team, allocating tasks, reviewing work quality, and serving as a key resource for team members. The individual applies detailed functional knowledge to complete assignments in effective and resourceful ways, while also identifying opportunities to improve work processes, methods, or tools.
This role regularly addresses complex or unusual problems, researching alternatives and selecting the most appropriate solutions to support team success. Communication involves sharing complex or sensitive information clearly with stakeholders at various levels.
Work is performed with minimal supervision and a high degree of independent judgment. The individual is trusted to complete challenging assignments independently, mentor less-experienced colleagues, and assist supervisors in coordinating and guiding team performance

Experience Required:
Individuals at this level typically have 5–7 years of experience in support functions, with a demonstrated ability to manage complex or non-standard tasks and guide the daily work of others. They are highly proficient in their area of expertise, apply independent judgment regularly, and are trusted to complete assignments with minimal supervision. Experience should reflect responsibility for coordinating team efforts, mentoring peers, and identifying opportunities to improve work processes, tools, or methods.
