Role profile:

 

As an Agile Delivery Manager, you will drive the adoption and implementation of agile practices, and to facilitate the smooth operational running of our business. You will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of agility, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Your expertise in agile methodologies and technical competence will enable you to guide complex global teams and stakeholders in delivering high-quality products and services while promoting efficiency and innovation.

 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

·       Serve as an Agile Delivery Manager within the Cloud & Productivity Engineering function, responsible for enabling LSEG to be successful with Cloud & DevOps technologies

·       Facilitate cross functional planning processes to estimate work size/complexity and apply WIP limits to inbound demand

·       Map value streams and optimise for flow, managing relationships and work cross functionally across the Organisation

·       Evaluate the health of a group of squads operating practices, and set out improvement plans to improve Agile practices against Agile & DevSecOps metrics

·       Partner with Engineering leads to improve core engineering practices that reduce cycle time, reduce risk/failure, and increase throughput

·       Work closely with Product Owners to understand priorities ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goals.

·       Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

·       Play an active role in the transformation of the business to an aligned Product Centric Agile Operating Model

·       Implement metrics and KPIs to measure team productivity, product quality, and delivery performance.

·       Success will be measured by increases in performance of teams and value streams aligned to core OKRs or Speed, Quality, Predictability and Reliability.

 

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

·       Experience of working within a Product centric Agile operating model and scaling frameworks, getting multiple teams working together to deliver value

·       Technical competence in the subject matter, with practical experience and/or certifications, to speak confidently with engineers about the work being done.

·       Experience of mapping enterprise value streams and optimising for flow

·       Proven track record in coaching and mentoring individual staff members agile teams and stakeholders.

·       Excellent communication and leadership skills to inspire and guide teams.

·       Proficiency in using agile collaboration and project management tools.

·       Ability to drive change and foster an agile culture within the organization.

·       Advanced Power BI , workflow management automation, distilling complex topics into clear and engaging visuals.

·       Previous experience as Software developer (mid- senior)

·       Proven experience is leading multiple squads (min 5-7) of technical people following Agile principles and framework

·       Previous experience in dealing with Agile Delivery Performance Metrics, PI planning, Capacity estimation and leading cross functional teams.

·       Scrum Master, PMP, Technical certifications in AWS are mandatory

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Demonstrable experience in delivering technology solutions in an Agile way, leading cross functional planning events and other Agile ceremonies.

  • Technical understanding of Cloud platforms and DevSecOps practices in a software engineering function

  • Fully Proficient in AWS Cloud Core Engineering Skills, Network Engineering, Data Dog, Cloud tools and GCP.

  • General, hands-on software engineering experience and experience of working with AWS Cloud platform

  • Previous Coding experience and exposure is mandatory

  • Familiarized with Cloud setups (Landing Zones, DRRC, Outposts etc) Cloud Modernization and Transformation Initiatives for large scale portfolios (migrations from on prem- to Cloud, process of building Cloud infrastructure, Storage Optimization, Observability Tools, Apps latency and performance optimization etc)

  • AI literacy, with experience of working with Agents, AI Hands on experience and prompt engineering best practices

  • Qualifications in Agile methodologies

  • Strong communication and influencing skills

  • Advanced MS PowerPoint skills distilling complex topics into clear and engaging visuals

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • Ability to influence senior business stakeholders with a high degree of professional maturity and resilience
