Job Description
Job objectives / Area of responsibility
◼Create and manage Feature Templates, reusable modeling components and libraries to improve efficiency and quality in product design.
◼Define and promote best practices for parametric, associative and feature-based modeling in Siemens NX.
◼Drive digitalization and automation of design processes through knowledge-based engineering and NX Feature Templates.
◼Collaborate with global engineering and design teams to implement and harmonize standards.
◼Create and manage Siemens Teamcenter Configurators to support product development
◼Work independently and proactively, think beyond routine tasks and contribute innovative ideas that challenge conventional approaches and improve overall design efficiency.
Education and professional knowledge:
◼Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering or a related technical field.
◼Extensive experience in CAD design, preferably in industrial, automotive or mechanical product development.
◼Proven expertise in Siemens NX (advanced modeling, re-use libraries, feature templates).
◼Hands-on experience with Siemens Teamcenter, especially in configuration and variant management (Teamcenter Configurator).
◼Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing according to ISO GPS.
◼In-depth knowledge of design methodologies, drafting principles, and product lifecycle management.
◼Experience in standardization and knowledge-based engineering and design automation.
◼Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a structured working style.
◼Experience working in international, cross-functional teams.
◼Excellent communication skills in English with ability to collaborate across regions and disciplines.
