Job Title: Regional Sales Manager – WestBusiness: Edwards Fire Detection & Alarm Systems (Kidde Global Solutions)Location: Mumbai (West Region)
Job Summary
The Regional Sales Manager – West will be responsible for driving sales growth, channel partner management, consultant engagement, business development, and market expansion for Edwards Fire Detection & Alarm Systems across the West region. The role requires developing strong relationships with system integrators, consultants, end users, PMC firms, and key stakeholders while achieving revenue, order booking, profitability, and collection targets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Achieve regional sales revenue, order booking, and profitability targets.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase Edwards market share in the West region.
Identify and develop opportunities in key verticals such as Data Centers, Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Hospitality, Airports, Industrial, and Government sectors.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and forecast business accurately.
Drive specifications of Edwards solutions with consultants and end users.
Channel Partner Management
Develop and manage a network of system integrators, distributors, and channel partners.
Identify and onboard new channel partners to strengthen regional coverage.
Conduct regular business reviews with channel partners.
Support partners with technical, commercial, and project-related requirements.
Monitor partner performance and develop action plans for growth.
Consultant & End User Engagement
Build strong relationships with consultants, PMCs, architects, and MEP consultants.
Conduct product presentations, design workshops, and technical seminars.
Ensure Edwards products are specified and approved in major projects.
Engage directly with key end users and corporate accounts.
Project Management & Opportunity Tracking
Track key projects from specification to order closure.
Coordinate with application engineering and operations teams for project support.
Monitor project competition, pricing strategy, and win-loss analysis.
Ensure timely submission of BOQs, technical compliance documents, and MAF requests.
Financial & Commercial Management
Achieve collection and DSO targets for the region.
Monitor customer credit exposure and support overdue collection activities.
Ensure healthy business margins and commercial compliance.
Work closely with finance teams on credit approvals and risk management.
Team Leadership
Lead and mentor sales engineers and regional support teams.
Set clear objectives and performance expectations.
Conduct regular reviews and coaching sessions.
Foster a culture of accountability, customer focus, and business growth.
Market Intelligence
Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
Provide market feedback to leadership for product and business strategy.
Identify emerging opportunities and new verticals for growth.

Extensive travel across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and other assigned territories.
Minimum 4 days per week of customer, consultant, and partner engagement in the field
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical or equivalent).
MBA preferred.
8–15 years of sales experience in Fire Detection, Fire & Security, Building Automation, ELV, or related industries.
Strong understanding of Fire Alarm Systems, NFPA, UL/FM standards, and project sales.
Experience in managing channel partners and consultant networks.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and business growth

This role is critical to expanding Edwards' presence, driving specification-led sales, and delivering sustainable growth across the West region.
