Job Description
This is a journeyman-level instrumentation technician responsible to complete scheduled maintenance, preventive maintenance and break-in work along with performing many other duties both as part of a team and independently. Duties for this position include, but are not limited to, troubleshooting equipment through the DCS systems, single loop controls, data acquisition and camera systems. Install, calibrate, maintain electronic and pneumatic field instruments for flow, level, temperature, vibration, hydraulic and analytical systems. Repair, calibration of final control elements such as control valves, pneumatic and electronic positioners. Knowledge of various test equipment for calibration, preventive maintenance and the ability to read loop sheets, P&IDs and electrical schematics.
Hourly pay rate is $37.01, as of June 1, 2026.
Requirements:
Minimum High School graduate or GED equivalent
1 year vocational/technical education in the Instrumentation Discipline
Industrial technology degree
Certificate from accredited college or trade school
Willing and capable of working all shifts
Experience (Desired Skills):
Desire to work in manufacturing setting and experience working in an industrial environment
Knowledge of control and instrument theory, calibration, installation and valves
Strong math/physics understanding
Highly motivated, results-driven individual who can also perform well in a team setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
