Assistant Vice President, Field Origination (Real Estate Lending/Purchase)

To provide leadership and operational direction for activities related to nationwide first mortgage loan origination; processing; closing and funding. Manage execution of business and organizational objectives while meeting regulatory requirements and maintaining Navy Federal's strategic plan responsive to Navy Federal's membership. Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures of Navy Federal, NCUA, its private and institutional investors and laws and regulations applicable to mortgage lending (e.g., RESPA, TIL, ECOA). Oversee the quality and effectiveness of Field Mortgage purchase origination strategy to improve results. Manage, evaluate, and adjust branch work quality, staff performance, processes and procedures to meet goals. Lead, provide guidance and direction to Field Mortgage management and staff to drive application volume and ensure prompt, courteous member service. Formulate appropriate policy, priorities and strategic initiatives.
