As Senior Director, Global Source to Pay (S2P), you will architect and operationalize the Global S2P tower within Copeland’s Global Business Services (GBS) organization. This is more than a leadership position; it is a unique opportunity to provide single-point leadership across Sourcing, Procurement Operations, and Supplier Management, ensuring a standardized and compliant service delivery model that serves our global enterprise.
You will lead a multidisciplinary team of professionals across three global sites—including hubs in the Philippines, Romania, and Mexico—to drive operational excellence and unlock enterprise-wide value. From standing up services to designing AI-enabled future-state solutions, you will be at the helm of a high-performance organization that redefined how Copeland builds for the needs of the world ahead.
This position is based in Cluj Napoca, with the opportunity to work in a hybrid working model.
What You’ll Be Accountable For:
Initially focused on the transition and scaling phases, you will drive operational stability and value realization across the end-to-end S2P lifecycle.
- Global S2P Leadership: Build, lead, and develop the global S2P organization, owning the operating budget, workforce planning, and performance management.
- Operational Excellence: Own global delivery for all S2P transactional services, ensuring consistent performance against SLAs, KPIs, and cost targets.
- Digital Transformation: Lead global process standardization and automation initiatives, including the adoption of analytics and AI-enabled capabilities.
- Strategic Partnership: Serve as the primary GBS interface for S2P with Business Units, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT to align on investments and strategic initiatives.
- Compliance & Governance: Maintain a rigorous controls environment, ensuring adherence to global policies, audit requirements, and financial controls.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience & Leadership
- 15+ years of experience in Procurement, or Source-to-Pay.
- 10+ years of leadership experience in a GBS, Shared Services, or Global Operations environment is essential.
- A proven track record of driving transformation, standardization, and automation through large, multi-location teams.
- Deep expertise in S2P technologies such as Oracle, Concur, or Ariba.

Education & Global Agility
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (Required); Master’s degree or professional certifications (ISM, APICS, PMP) preferred.
- Global Presence: Ability to travel internationally (25-50%) to maintain active engagement across global delivery sites.
- Language: Fluency in spoken and written English.
