Lead Mission-Critical Systems Engineering as a System Engineer!
 
Are you ready to play a key role in designing, developing, and integrating mission-critical systems? DeNOVO Solutions is seeking a talented System Engineer to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for analyzing user requirements, developing system architectures, and guiding users through the entire systems engineering process. From conducting feasibility studies to providing technical leadership in system integration, you’ll make a direct impact on national security operations. A Day in the Life:
  • Analyze & Design: Analyze user requirements, develop system specifications, and lead system design and development activities.
  • Guide & Advise: Guide users in formulating system requirements, provide alternatives, and conduct feasibility studies.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology, ensuring the seamless integration of systems into ongoing operations.
  • Documentation & Testing: Develop technical documentation, including system architecture and design documents, and prepare system integration and test plans.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Communicate with government personnel, senior executives, and program personnel to address technical considerations and resolve system issues.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • Expertise in Network Information Service (NIS) and UNIX/LINUX operating systems, including RedHat or CentOS.
  • Proven experience developing and implementing system configuration scripts in Python, Perl, Java, ksh, csh, Bourne, or Bash.
  • Hands-on experience with VMware, including ESX and Horizon, as well as Windows operating systems.
  • Knowledge of systems and network security, auditing, and user authentication.
  • Experience applying Operating System patches and upgrades regularly, and upgrading administrative tools and utilities.
  • Experience with STE and STN technologies.
What You Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of systems engineering experience; or 12+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • DoD 8570 compliance IAT Category, Level II Certification. (Security +)
Security Requirements: 
  • TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
Salary Range:
  • $100,000 - $140,000 annually. At DeNOVO Solutions, we value experience and expertise. Compensation may exceed the listed range to align with the skills and experience of the candidate.

Pay Range: $100,000 - $140,000 per hour
