Overview As a key member of the Data Enablement team, you will own the design, development, and ongoing evolution of the classification logic at the heart of our core data products. This role is centered on building, refining, and continuously reclassifying the rules and taxonomies that power our classification engine, supported by the data engineering, data product development, and data governance work that surrounds it. You will work hands-on with large, complex datasets to develop and maintain classification logic, reclassify data as taxonomies evolve, and ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems. Responsibilities Contribute to the design, build, and maintenance of data pipelines and workflows supporting the classification engine and other core data products using Databricks and/or Snowflake Own the development, implementation, and continuous reclassification of scalable classification logic and data transformation rules using SQL and/or Python Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across datasets through rigorous QA, validation, and monitoring processes Partner closely with Engineering, Business Intelligence, and Media teams to support and evolve data products and underlying data models Troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues, identifying root causes and implementing long-term solutions Work within Agile frameworks (Jira) to manage priorities, deliverables, and cross-functional collaboration Qualifications Proven Business Intelligence experience gained at a media agency (required) Hands-on experience working with Databricks and/or Snowflake, or similar modern data warehouse technologies Proficiency in SQL and/or Python for data transformation and analysis Experience working with large, complex datasets and building scalable data solutions Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy and quality Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex data and system issues Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Ability to think critically about data structures, logic, and system design A genuine love for classification work and for reclassifying data as taxonomies and business needs evolve Preferred but not required: Experience with taxonomy, classification systems, or data governance frameworks Experience with data visualization tools such as Datorama/MCI, Tableau, and Power BI Familiarity with tools such as Snowflake or Databricks #LI-AD2 Additional information Our Publicis Groupe motto “Viva La Différence” means we’re better together, and we believe that our differences make us stronger. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
