We’re looking for a hands-on, technically driven Senior Metrology Surveillance Engineer to lead the development of advanced measurement systems and surveillance testing that ensure our products perform reliably in critical environments. In this pivotal role, you will: Lead surveillance testing programmes, analysing product performance, identifying risks, and driving improvements through data-led insights Develop and validate metrology methods across dimensional, mechanical, and functional measurements Take ownership of measurement system analysis (MSA), ensuring robust, accurate and compliant measurement processes Design and optimise CMM programmes for complex, tight-tolerance components Create and implement test protocols and technical procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards Conduct hands-on testing and inspection, producing clear, evidence-based reports Collaborate cross-functionally with R D, Manufacturing and Quality teams to resolve technical challenges and support audits This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on combining precision engineering, data analysis, and practical problem-solving, while influencing product performance and reliability at every stage of the lifecycle. Who you’ll be working with: You’ll collaborate with a wide range of expert teams across the business, giving you real visibility and influence: R D and Product Development teams – contributing metrology expertise to design reviews and product innovation Quality Engineering and Manufacturing – ensuring measurement systems and inspection processes deliver consistent, high-quality outputs Supplier Quality and external partners – supporting robust measurement standards across the supply chain Cross-functional stakeholders – providing data-driven insight during investigations, change control and continuous improvement activities Audit and compliance teams – presenting technical evidence and ensuring readiness for internal and external audits
