The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of insurance billing procedures, claims management, and follow-up processes, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Submit and manage insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner
- Handle payment posting, claim tracking, and account reconciliation
- Follow up on denied, rejected, or unpaid claims to ensure resolution
- Communicate with insurance companies regarding billing issues and claim status updates
- Review and verify billing information for accuracy and compliance
- Maintain organized billing records and documentation
- Collaborate with intake, authorization, and clinical teams to support smooth billing workflows
Qualifications:
- Experience in medical billing required
- Strong knowledge of insurance processes, claims systems, and reimbursement procedures
- Experience working with healthcare billing platforms and insurance portals
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
