About the Role Masters Academy International is seeking a dynamic, values-driven Prep Team Boys Soccer Assistant Coach to help lead our elite student-athletes to success both on the pitch and in the classroom. In this role, you will partner closely with the Head Coach to design and to execute high-level training regimens, implement strategic game plans, and foster a highly competitive yet supportive team culture. Beyond tactical instruction, you will serve as a vital mentor to student-athletes navigating the demands of rigorous academics and top-tier athletics, ensuring they develop the discipline, resilience, and leadership skills necessary to excel at the next level. We are seeking an impactful communicator with a deep understanding of advanced soccer systems, strong recruitment strategies, and a passion for holistic player development. What You Will Do As the Prep Team Boys Soccer Assistant Coach, you will partner with the Head Coach to develop the technical skills, tactical understanding, and physical conditioning of our student-athletes. You will assist in running dynamic daily practices, executing game-day strategies, and managing team logistics, all while fostering a competitive and supportive environment. Beyond the field, you will serve as a positive mentor dedicated to instilling character, sportsmanship, and academic accountability in alignment with the mission of Masters Academy International. Who You Are You are a passionate, high-energy leader with a strong foundational knowledge of soccer tactics and a talent for motivating young athletes. Qualifications • Education : Bachelor's degree in education, Sports Management, Youth Development, or a related field preferred. • Experience : Minimum of 3 years of competitive soccer coaching experience at the elite high school, varsity prep, or collegiate level. • Expertise : Experience navigating the student-athlete recruitment landscape and a strong network within the youth soccer community; Familiarity with modern sports video-analysis software (such as Hudl or Synergy) and basic digital athletic administration tools. • Knowledge : Strong understanding of advanced soccer concepts, tactical systems, and modern skill-development techniques. Schedule, Compensation, and Benefits Schedule: Weekly Coaching Commitment requires attendance at team training sessions every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Compensation: This is a part-time regular position that works on the school year schedule. The successful candidate is expected to fulfill the responsibilities of the role from the beginning of September through the first week of June. No coaching duties are required during scheduled school vacations, holiday breaks, or other periods when students are not on campus. Unless otherwise mutually agreed upon in advance, the coach is not expected to report for work or attend team activities during these periods. The salary for this position is $20,000.
