About the Role: We are seeking an inspiring and knowledgeable Economics Teacher to join our Senior School team. In this role, you will deliver engaging and challenging Economics lessons to students in Grades 11 and 12, preparing them for Cambridge International AS A Level examinations. You will help students develop a strong understanding of both microeconomics and macroeconomics while encouraging them to apply economic concepts to real-world issues and global developments. Through high-quality teaching, assessment and feedback, you will support students in achieving excellent academic outcomes and developing critical thinking, analytical and evaluative skills. You will also contribute to curriculum development, enrichment opportunities and the wider life of the school, working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the school community to provide an outstanding educational experience. Who We Are Looking For: • A qualified teacher with a bachelor's degree in Economics or a closely related subject and a recognised teaching qualification. • Experience teaching Economics within a secondary school setting. • A passionate educator who can motivate, challenge and inspire students to achieve their full potential. • Strong classroom management, communication and interpersonal skills. • The ability to create an inclusive, positive and academically rigorous learning environment. • Excellent organisational skills and a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning. • Confidence using technology to enhance learning and student engagement. • A collaborative team player who is committed to safeguarding, wellbeing and continuous professional development.
