Job Description
We are looking for a driven and technically strong Litigation Associate or Senior Associate to join our market-leading Litigation practice in the Cayman Islands.

About the role
In this role you'll:
Work closely with Partners and senior lawyers on a broad range of contentious matters, including commercial litigation, financial services disputes, insolvency and restructuring.
Advise clients and prepare high-quality legal analysis and documentation.
Draft pleadings, submissions and other key litigation documents.
Manage and progress matters efficiently, including coordinating across multiple jurisdictions.
Review and comment on third-party documentation.
Support on strategy and delivering commercially focused outcomes.
Manage matter administration in line with internal procedures (conflicts, engagement terms, billing etc.).
Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients, and escalating issues where appropriate.
Take ownership of discrete workstreams and delivering to a high standard within agreed timeframes.
Contribute to a collaborative team culture and promoting the firm’s values.
About you
Qualified in a recognised common law jurisdiction.
5+ years’ PQE gained at a leading onshore or offshore firm.
Strong experience in commercial litigation, ideally with exposure to financial services, regulatory, insolvency or restructuring matters.
Excellent drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Commercially minded with the ability to provide clear, pragmatic advice.
Proven ability to manage competing priorities and work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills and a high level of professionalism.
High attention to detail and appreciation for confidentiality.
