We have an opportunity for an Assistant Manager to join our growing Fund Services team in Jersey. In this role, you’ll work closely with colleagues across fund accounting and client administration to deliver high quality financial reporting services. You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of technical accounting matters while supporting varied client entities.

About the role
In this role, you'll:
Maintain accurate accounting records across client entity databases, including Viewpoint, Investran and Yardi
Prepare and review financial statements and periodic reports, including monthly, quarterly and bi-annual deliverables
Produce capital account statements and net asset valuations as required
Develop a strong understanding of client transactions and liaise regularly with your line manager
Work collaboratively with colleagues to manage deadlines and meet client expectations
Provide accounting support, advice and clear explanations to clients and internal teams
Build and maintain relationships with clients, auditors and third party providers
Support and mentor trainee accountants in their professional and exam development
About you – essential requirements
Qualified ACCA or ACA, or qualified by experience, with strong practical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
Demonstrable experience producing and reviewing financial reporting within a fund or financial services environment
Excellent Excel skills and working knowledge of accounting systems, with Yardi or Investran experience desirable
Proven ability to analyse data, solve problems and work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines while working both independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and proactive approach
