About the role

 

The Solutions Analyst, West supports the delivery, stability, and continuous improvement of business applications across multiple functional domains. The role partners closely with stakeholders across EMEA and The Americas to understand operational needs, identify opportunities for improvement, design and deliver solutions, and manage projects and initiatives from inception through to BAU transition. 


This role focuses on execution, cross-functional alignment, and continuous optimisation of operational systems to deliver reliable and scalable business outcomes and requires strong analytical capability, advanced problem-solving skills, and the ability to influence and guide stakeholders while ensuring technology solutions deliver measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities Include:

 

Strategic

  • Analyse and translate business processes and technical functions into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and performance improvement.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process optimisation, system enhancement, and broader business value creation.
  • Act as a key liaison between the Solutions team and business stakeholders, ensuring operational systems are effectively supported, maintained, and continuously improved.
  • Drive digital uplift by championing the adoption of new technologies, digitisation of processes, and capability-building across the business.

 

Leadership

  • Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the Solutions team and across business units.
  • Lead and deliver internal training on new features, enhancements, and solutions to end users to embed new ways of working.

 

Functional

  • Conduct advanced analysis of business processes, systems, and data to identify inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct requirements gathering with business stakeholders and documentation, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Apply and champion iterative analysis and delivery methodologies (use cases, user stories, requirements matrices, mock-ups, etc.).
  • Collaborate with developers, testers, and operational teams to clarify requirements to ensure successful delivery.
  • Produce high-quality documentation including requirements, process maps, functional specifications, and user guides.
  • Design and recommend innovative, scalable solutions to business challenges, incorporating process improvements, new system capabilities, and enabling technologies.

 

Operational

  • Develop and document solution support processes, service levels, escalation paths, categorisation standards, and reporting frameworks in collaboration with the Solutions team.
  • Manage and resolve complex business application service requests and incidents, providing 2nd and 3rd level support.
  • Support multiple functional areas including Operations, Order to Cash, and adjacent business processes.
  • Ensure timely and clear communication to users and leaders regarding incident status, risks, and impacts.
  • Proactively engage with stakeholders and SMEs to identify and address issues, offering forward-thinking solutions that enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Support planning, testing, and execution of application upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
  • Support and manage minor projects and initiatives, ensuring defined outcomes, stakeholder engagement, delivery milestones, and smooth transition to BAU.
  • Design, deliver, and embed new solutions and system enhancements, ensuring business readiness and adoption.

 

Administrative

  • Prepare professional project and operational documentation including agendas, presentations, SOPs, RACIs, and functional specifications.
  • Maintain and improve the IT documentation repository, ensuring content is accurate, current, and user-friendly.
  • Provide accurate and reliable effort estimates to support planning, resource forecasting, and demand management.
  • Deliver regular status updates, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure transparency of progress, risks, and dependencies.

What You'll Bring:

 

  • 3-5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in complex solution environments.
  • Fluent in Spanish & English
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new tools and platforms, connect digital systems to support business objectives, and apply strong problem solving skills.
  • Skilled in creating functional specifications, process flow diagrams, gap analysis reports, and presenting complex information clearly.
  • Strong ability to build relationships, manage expectations, and communicate effectively across multiple geographies and time zones.
  • Experience managing minor initiatives and projects from definition through to BAU handover.
  • Self-starter, collaborative problem-solver, adaptable in fast-paced environments, and capable of constructively challenging the status quo.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and backlog prioritization.
  • Knowledge of project management and change management principles.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple geographies and time zones.
  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline desirable but not required.

Physical & Other requirements 

•    Some business travel may be required from time to time
