IT System manager
Job Description
Do you want to take ownership of IT governance and compliance for IT systems in a highly regulated production environment? As an IT System Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our IT landscape supports stable, compliant, and future‑ready API manufacturing.
Your new role
As an IT System Manager in API MSAT Process Support, you will be responsible for governance, compliance, and lifecycle management of a portfolio of non‑business‑critical IT systems and computerised equipment. You will work closely with equipment responsibles, system managers, and stakeholders across API MSAT to ensure systems meet both internal and external requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning IT governance, compliance, and documentation for assigned IT systems throughout their lifecycle
- Planning and performing periodic reviews, risk assessments, and security patching follow‑up
- Acting as the primary point of contact for IT system‑related topics within API MSAT Process Support
- Driving smaller IT projects and cross‑API MSAT initiatives related to new systems, tools, and processes
- Supporting audits and inspections by setting and maintaining the required IT compliance level
Please note this position is an on-site in Bagsværd/Gentofte. Going to Kalundborg will also be expected around 1 time per month.
Your new department
You will join API MSAT Production Support, part of Novo Nordisk’s API Manufacturing Science and Technology organisation. The department supports all in‑house produced APIs and operates advanced laboratories in Bagsværd and Gentofte, where API processes are replicated for troubleshooting, optimisation, and technology transfer from development to production.
You will also represent API MSAT Process Support in a cross‑API MSAT forum of IT System Managers, ensuring alignment and best‑practice sharing across sites.
Your skills and qualifications
We are looking for a structured and quality‑focused professional who enjoys working at the intersection of IT, compliance, and production.
Ideally, you bring:
- A bachelor’s or technical degree in IT, automation, or a related field, or equivalent experience from a regulated production environment
- Around 2+ years of experience within IT System Management, IT compliance, IT security, or IT risk management
- Knowledge of ITIL; experience with ServiceNow and documented project management is considered an advantage
- Strong communication skills in English; Danish is a plus
- A proactive, can‑do mindset with the ability to set direction and motivate people, engage stakeholders, and drive tasks to completion with a structured approach
