Overview The transformation you will experience
The Performance Manager is accountable for influencing high‑quality digital campaign activation across all performance channels, translating plans into flawless execution and ensuring campaigns are delivered accurately, optimised effectively and conduct to best‑practice standards
This role acts as the bridge between planning and delivery, owning activation workflow, guiding implementation teams and ensuring performance campaigns launch smoothly, conduct efficiently and deliver on client objectives
Your scope will include: Build relationship with client through with latest market knowledge, general media industry topics and competitive intel which may affect their business on a regular basis Present to clients as part of WIP’s and QBR’s on digital activations related topics Influence end-to-end activation of Digital campaigns (Programmatic, Direct Digital, Social, Search), ensuring flawless launch, accurate set-up, and achievement of performance benchmarks Monitor live campaigns, troubleshoot in real-time, and recommend creative, audience, or budget optimisations Ensure quality control from briefing media through buying, optimisation, and reporting, with budgets spent effectively and within approved limits Guide teams on best‑practice optimisation approaches, platform features and performance levers
Oversee post-campaign reports, performance updates, and client presentations; contribute insights to Quarterly Business Reviews and feed learnings back into planning Review outcomes of audits and MMM studies, implementing improvements where needed Enforce the use of briefing templates, ensuring briefs have clear context and timely feedback is given to media partners Provide planning costs and tactical recommendations to enhance media plans and deliver ROI across digital channels Stay close to performance trends and insights, proactively identifying opportunities to improve results or mitigate risk
Assist in the development of Digital I&A Executives by providing feedback and guidance, assist them in delivering their KPIs Develop the team’s commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and solution-finding abilities beyond technical implementation Identify areas for improvement and feedback to direct reports and offshore Activations team, seeks alignment from Director Oversee workload across the team to ensure they can deliver on accountabilities and can attend training and development sessions
Effectively oversee workflow and communications with the offshore team to ensure seamless campaign implementation and reporting Capable of making informed-choices in high-pressure circumstances
Looks to find solutions that result in win-win outcomes for everyone involved Assist teams in using platforms correctly and confidently, with a strong focus on output interpretation and decision‑making
Troubleshoot delivery or system issues as they arise and escalate effectively when required
Ensure consistent use of activation templates, processes and best‑practice ways of working across accounts
Promote Zenith’s reputation externally through good relationships with vendors and partners What type of person will be successful in this role
Proven experience in Performance Media
Strong experience in Paid Search, Social and Programmatic
