You will be part of the Global Accounting Delivery (GAD) team, where we strive for smart and nimble finance processes by analyzing financials to support the business in the best way. What you'll do
You’ll monitor daily banking activities from the accounting perspective as well as the bank operational tasks. Your tasks will be to monitor cash pools within the group entities, execution and posting of manual payments to third parties and bank account reconciliations.
You will be involved in month end closings, perform bank and intercompany loan reconciliations. You will ensure all bank entries are properly posted into our ERPs so we deliver high quality service and advice to our internal customers which are the different Volvo Cars’ entities.
Examples of everyday tasks include day-to-day accounting and related questions of varying complexity, process development and management on a global level, as well as always delivering high quality service and advice to customers and stakeholders. Examples of activities in the C&B Team:
• Daily accounting of treasury and banking operations to the accounting team
• Analysis and reporting
• Provide detailed support to our customers on ad hoc treasury queries
• Identify areas of improvement within area of responsibility and to collaborate with relevant stakeholders
• Actively participate in ad hoc harmonization projects
• Deliver in compliance with current global principles, standards, and frameworks
What you'll bring
- You have a degree in Finance or equivalent and some years of experience in a similar role.
- You have a high level of English (C1).
- You are an open-minded team player, curious of better ways of doing things.
- Ability to plan and prioritize and have a positive mindset!
- You have preferably been working with some of the following tools: SAP FICO, S4 Hana, Excel, Power BI, Power Apps and AI tools
