As a People Experience (PX) Advisory Specialist within the Americas, you play a key role in delivering high quality PX support that enables our managers and employees to perform at their best. You provide clear, compliant, and people centric guidance across a wide range of employee-related matters, while contributing to continuous improvements that shape a modern and efficient PX experience.
What you'll do
Principal Responsibilities
Provide advice and services to managers and employees across the whole Talent Journey.
People Support & Specialist Guidance
Based on our global and regional standards, provide guidance PX support to managers and employees via phone, email, digital case management, and in person interactions.
- Offer guidance across all areas within our PX Advisory scope, including:
- All elements of the Talent Journey
- Global Job Framework evaluations
- Continuous Dialogue: performance process
- Disciplinary and performance improvement cases
- Working hours, absence and time reporting
- HR Systems
- Conflict management and employee relations
- Onboarding experience for new employees
- Other HR topics requiring senior expertise and investigations
- Act as a trusted partner by delivering advice aligned with Volvo Cars' policies, culture and local labor legislation.
Case Management & Service Excellence
- Handle PX cases end -to -end with high accuracy, confidentiality and a strong customer focused mindset.
- Ensure all case notes and decisions are documented clearly to support transparency and continuous learning.

Proactive Improvement Work
- Identify patterns, recurring questions and improvement opportunities across our processes and digital tools.
- Drive initiatives that strengthen self-service, knowledge content, My Employment content and user experience for managers and employees.
- Support training and capability building, including system education and policy onboarding for leaders.
Collaboration Across PX
- Work closely with PX Business Partners and PX operational and expert teams to secure seamless end-to-end support.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects that enhance the efficiency and reliability of our PX services.
- Share insights and feedback to support data-driven decisions within the People Experience organization.
What you'll bring
- BSc in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field, or similar experience from work.
- 1 – 5 years of progressive HR experience.
- Strong customer focus and solution-oriented mindset
- Experience from delivering HR operations through specialist or generalist role
- Experience with Human Resource Management Systems like SuccessFactors, LMS or ServiceNow.
- Proven ability to support leaders or employees through change.
- Data-driven mindset to identify trends and process gaps.
- Deep knowledge about one or more functions at Volvo Cars
- We appreciate applicants with skills in Spanish and/or Portuguese
