
Manager, Hyperscale Data Center PMO
Job Description
Eaton’s ES AMER NAS division is currently seeking a Manager, Hyperscale Data Center PMO. This position is remote and can be located anywhere in the United States.
What you’ll do:
The primary function of the Manager, Hyperscale Data Center Project Management Organization is to set strategic direction and manage day to day functions of the Hyperscale Data Center Project Management Organization. This organization supports Eaton's straegic hyperscale customers in the data center segment for North American Sales providing commercial and technical support from order entry to project closeout. This position must also work closely with management for Field Sales, the Centralized PC Organization, Field Project Engineering, Manufacturing Product Lines / Divisions and Engineering Services to ensure support is in alignment with customer requirements. This position is responsible for ongoing maintenance and advancement of field PMO processes, procedures and digital tools which enable efficient execution of all above referenced duties. This role has responsibility for the following positions: Program Leaders (Data Center Focused), Project Managers, Hyperscale DC Site Representatives (Contract SOW workforce). This position must be able to develop and adjust strategies to maintain high levels of customer services in rapidly changing markets, while meeting financial objectives related to annual profit planning.
Job Responsibilities
Primary functions include:
• Set Strategic direction for Hyperscale Data Center Project Management Organization together with Field Sales, the Centralized PC Organization, Field Project Engineering, Manufacturing Product Lines / Divisions and Engineering Services and other departments within these organizations.
• Manage: Program Leaders (Data Center Focused), Project Managers, Hyperscale DC Site Representatives (Contract SOW workforce)
• Communicate the vision for Hyperscale Data Center Project Management Organization within Eaton to ensure that the direction of the organization is clearly understood.
• Responsibility for achieving annual revenue targets.
• Develop and maintain effective relationship with Field Sales to improve program revenue allocation, data center market share growth and overall lifecycle sales.
• Actively participate in ongoing recruiting for sustained diverse talent growth within the segment. Facilitate engagement by all leaders on the team to develop and maintain a bench of talent for the organization to draw on.
• Work closely with the VP of Project Negotiations & Management to ensure cascaded objectives are achieved.
Essential job tasks include but are not limited to:
• Ensure integrity and competency of systems to comply with corporate, division, and organization policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Drive productivity within the group utilizing EBS principles and electronic tools to support efficient and profitable business growth.
• Support the VP of Project Negotiations & Management in formulating a strategic plan for for the Hyperscale segment which supports market growth YoY.
• Attract, hire, develop, and retain high performing Program Leaders, and Project Managers.
• Maintain a strong working relationship with our chosen staffing solution provider to facilitate a strong ESRep (Eaton Site Representative) program at key hyperscale DC build out locations.
• Engage with sales and sales leadership to support relationship building with customers.
• Effectively develop and manage departmental budgets, including but not limited to T and E and SOW staffing.
• Support the management of order financials including Z accounts and customer claims.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical industry project management, field sales or marketing
• Minimum 3 years of managerial experience

Preferred Qualifications:
--Bachelor's degree in Engineering
--10 years of experience in field sales, project management and/or marketing within the electrical industry
-- PMP Certification
--5 years of direct data center market experience

The compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and target sales performance incentive. This position has a target total compensation range of $187,500 - $275,000
Base salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
