About the role
The HSEQ Manager, EMEA leads Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality initiatives across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa to support Fuller Technologies’ operational and strategic goals. Acting as a key partner to regional leadership and the global Quality subject matter expert within HSEQ, this role drives safety culture, regulatory compliance, quality standards, and continuous improvement across the region.
The position focuses on reducing risk, improving operational performance, enhancing customer outcomes, and implementing scalable HSEQ practices. The ideal candidate brings strong Health & Safety leadership, deep Quality expertise, and experience navigating complex EMEA regulatory environments, including countries such as Denmark, Germany, Italy, Spain, Turkey, UAE, Egypt, and the Czech Republic. Experience working with Works Councils, Work Environment Committees, and employee representative groups is highly valued, along with strong collaboration and influencing skills in a fast-paced global industrial environment.
Your Responsibilities :
Health, Safety & Environmental Leadership
Lead and support the execution of HSEQ strategy across the EMEA region aligned with company objectives, operational priorities, and regulatory requirements.
Drive a proactive safety culture focused on accountability, risk reduction, employee engagement, and continuous improvement.
Partner closely with operations, manufacturing, field service, engineering, and leadership teams to strengthen HSE performance and operational discipline.
Ensure compliance with applicable local, regional, and international health, safety, and environmental laws, regulations, and standards across EMEA.
Coordinate, lead, and provide oversight to regional safety committees and work environment committees across the region.
Develop and deliver HSEQ-related training, education, and awareness initiatives to leaders, managers, employees, and regional safety committees.
Ensure all required HSEQ compliance reporting, documentation, recordkeeping, and regulatory submissions are completed accurately and timely.
Conduct and support site audits, inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action programs.
Monitor HSEQ metrics, trends, and leading indicators and provide reporting and recommendations to leadership.
Support environmental compliance initiatives and sustainability efforts where applicable.
Lead or support emergency response planning, contractor safety management, and business continuity initiatives.
Quality Leadership & Global Expertise
Serve as the global subject matter expert for Quality within the HSEQ organization.
Lead initiatives to standardize and strengthen quality systems, processes, procedures, and operational controls across regions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and risk mitigation.
Support implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of ISO and other applicable quality management systems and certifications.
Partner with internal and external auditors and support audit preparation, corrective actions, compliance activities, and certification processes.
Partner cross-functionally to address customer concerns, quality issues, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions.
Support supplier quality initiatives and operational quality assurance programs.
Promote a culture of operational excellence, standardization, accountability, and customer focus.
Compliance & Employee Partnership
Ensure regional compliance with country-specific HSEQ regulations and requirements across Denmark, Germany, Italy, Spain, Turkey, UAE/Dubai, Egypt, Czech Republic, and other EMEA locations.
Partner effectively with Works Councils, Work Environment Committees, employee representatives, unions, and local leadership teams as required.
Support development and implementation of policies, procedures, and training programs aligned with local legal and regulatory requirements.
Maintain awareness of evolving regulatory changes and proactively assess operational impact and required actions.
Leadership & Collaboration
Act as a trusted advisor and business partner to regional and global leadership teams.
Deliver HSEQ training, coaching, communication, and awareness programs to employees and managers.
Support organizational initiatives focused on operational excellence, simplification, growth, and talent development.
Foster collaboration and alignment across global and regional HSEQ teams.
Travel throughout EMEA and globally as business needs require.
You bring
Bachelor’s degree required in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, Environmental Health, or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience required.
Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive HSEQ leadership experience in manufacturing, industrial, engineering, heavy equipment, mining, cement, energy, or related global environments.
Strong Health, Safety, and Environmental leadership experience is required.
Strong Quality leadership background required, with demonstrated experience leading enterprise quality initiatives and serving as a recognized subject matter expert in quality systems, standards, and continuous improvement methodologies. This role serves as the global Quality expert within the HSEQ organization.
Demonstrated success driving quality culture, process excellence, standardization, customer outcomes, and operational performance improvements across complex organizations.
Extensive experience implementing, maintaining, and improving Quality Management Systems, including ISO frameworks and audit readiness programs.
Significant experience supporting and leading ISO certification processes and working directly with internal and external auditors, including management of findings, corrective actions, and compliance requirements.
Experience serving as a regional HSEQ leader across multiple countries and jurisdictions within EMEA strongly preferred.
Experience supporting operations and regulatory environments across Denmark, Germany, Italy, Spain, Turkey, UAE/Dubai, Egypt, Czech Republic, and broader EMEA regions highly desirable.
Demonstrated experience partnering with Works Councils, Work Environment Committees, employee representatives, and regional compliance bodies.
Strong working knowledge of country-specific HSEQ regulations, environmental requirements, and compliance reporting obligations.
Experience coordinating, leading, and training regional safety committees and driving enterprise-wide safety culture initiatives.
Strong background in incident investigation, root cause analysis, risk management, and corrective/preventive action methodologies.
Experience with HSEQ systems, reporting tools, and platforms such as Intelex or similar systems preferred.
Professional certifications preferred, including National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), ISO Lead Auditor (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001), Six Sigma, Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or equivalent.
