Job Description
Bar Serra serves elevated food, wine, beer, and cocktails with the comfort of a neighborhood bar and the sophistication of a modern greenhouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a friendly, welcoming attitude as they arrive and thank them as they leave.
- Ensure the efficient seating of guests based on availability and party size.
- Maintain an organized and accurate waiting list, ensuring guests are seated in a timely manner.
- Communicate with the front-of-house team (servers, bartenders, etc.) to ensure a smooth dining experience.
- Assist in answering phones and taking reservations or providing information about the menu and restaurant.
- Ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and requests with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Assist in light administrative tasks, including taking to-go orders and helping with the flow of service.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a host or customer service role preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A friendly, positive attitude with a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
