Job Description
The Senior End User Computing (EUC) Engineer is a key technical leadership role responsible for managing and evolving a large-scale global endpoint environment of over 8,000 devices. You will design and deliver a modern, secure, and efficient workplace experience across Windows and macOS platforms, leveraging cloud-based technologies such as Microsoft Azure and Intune.
In this role, you will also lead a global L2 support team, ensuring operational excellence, consistent service delivery, and strong endpoint governance across a distributed enterprise environment.
What You Will Do
You will be responsible for the design, management, and continuous improvement of the enterprise endpoint ecosystem. This includes building and maintaining standard operating environments, security baselines, and deployment strategies for Windows and macOS devices.
You will manage endpoint lifecycle processes, including application packaging, deployment, patching, and updates using modern tools such as Windows Autopilot and Apple Business Manager.
You will oversee cloud-based device management using Microsoft Intune and Entra ID, ensuring secure access through Conditional Access policies, device compliance, and identity management.
A key part of your role is leading and mentoring a global L2 support team, setting SOPs, defining KPIs, and driving consistent troubleshooting and root cause analysis practices.
You will also work closely with cybersecurity teams to ensure endpoint compliance, implementing encryption, patch management, and integration with security tools like Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
What You Need
You should have at least 10 years of experience in End User Computing, Desktop Engineering, or a similar enterprise IT environment, ideally managing large-scale global endpoint fleets.
Strong hands-on experience with Windows 10/11 and macOS administration is required, along with deep knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Azure Entra ID, Conditional Access, and hybrid device management.
You should be skilled in scripting and automation using tools such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python to improve operational efficiency and support endpoint remediation.
A solid understanding of endpoint security, patch management, and modern application deployment methods (Win32, MSIX, PSADT) is essential.
Experience leading technical teams, especially global L2 support teams, is highly important, along with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Certifications such as Microsoft Endpoint Administrator, Jamf Certified Admin, or ITIL v4 are advantageous.
