You’ll work closely with senior fee earners on complex, high profile, cross border matters, with strong exposure to clients and early responsibility. About the role
In this role, you'll:
Advise on a broad range of cross border banking and finance matters
Support senior lawyers on structured finance, fund finance and asset finance transactions
Assist on financial restructurings and general banking work
Build and maintain strong client relationships through direct interaction
Contribute to the delivery of complex, high value matters
Collaborate with colleagues across jurisdictions and practice areas
Take ownership of workstreams and manage matters with appropriate supervision
About you – essential requirements
Around 5 years’ PQE, with strong experience in banking and finance
Qualified in England and Wales preferred, though Hong Kong or other Commonwealth qualifications will be considered
Demonstrable experience in areas such as structured finance, asset finance, fund finance or financial restructuring
Experience gained at, or training with, an international law firm
Ability to manage complex work and operate with a high level of responsibility
Communication skills, with the ability to build effective client relationships
Chinese language skills are advantageous but not essential
Offshore experience is preferred but not required
