Recruiting Coordinator | Long Beach CA
Location: Long Beach, CA in Office
We are a fast-paced Experiential Marketing Agency based in Long Beach that produces large-scale brand activations, live events, trade shows, and marketing programs across the U.S.
We're looking for a Recruiter Coordinator to support our HR Manager with recruiting efforts for local and national event staff, as well as assist with a variety of HR administrative tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, coordinating multiple candidates and open positions, and helping build strong event teams across the country.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with recruiting event staff, drivers, producers, brand ambassadors, warehouse staff, and other project-based positions.
• Source candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social media, and recruiting networks
• Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate outreach, phone screenings and in person interviews
• Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and production teams
• Manage candidate communication throughout the hiring process
• Assist with onboarding new hires and employment paperwork
• Coordinate background checks and pre-employment requirements
• Ensure recruiting processes align with employment laws and best practices
• Help maintain an organized recruiting workflow and candidate experience
• Assisting with general HR administrative tasks and special projects
Qualifications:
✔ 2+ years of experience in Recruiting, HR or administrative experience
✔ Experience supporting high-volume or event-based recruiting is a plus
✔ Strong understanding of LinkedIn Recruiter and candidate sourcing strategies
✔ Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through skills
✔ Ability to manage multiple hiring projects simultaneously
✔ Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruiting metrics
✔ Understanding of employment laws and interview compliance, including knowledge of appropriate and prohibited interview questions
✔Knowledge of EEO guidelines and fair hiring practices
✔ Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
✔Experience recruiting for events, staffing agencies, hospitality, or experiential marketing is highly desirable
✔Positive attitude and willingness to jump in where needed
✔ Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required

Duration: Temp to Hire
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (In Office)
Pay Rate: $28–$30 per hour (DOE)
