Under the direction of the Chief Dietitian is responsible for all dietary needs for patients on assigned unit/s, including assembly and delivery of patient meals during scheduled shift. Performs a variety of clerical tasks which relate to the tracking of information concerning patient diets, meal selections, preferences and complaints. Complies with standards established by Hospital, regulatory agencies, and JC. 

Education/Training: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

Experience: Prior customer service and/or food industry experience preferred. Basic computer skills and work with Windows-type operating system required. Ability to handle confidential information. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills to interact positively with nursing staff, patients, families, and other employees. Must have an understanding of weights and measures. Must be able to relay/follow written and verbal instructions in English.
