Job Description

We're looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to join CIS Project management Office. In this role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects while ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to drive project success and organisational objectives.

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation
  • Lead and coordinate project teams, delegating tasks and ensuring accountability across all team members
  • Identify, analyse, and mitigate project risks while implementing contingency strategies
  • Monitor project progress against established milestones and deliverables, adjusting plans as needed
  • Manage project budgets and track expenditures to ensure financial objectives are met
  • Communicate project status, updates, and challenges to stakeholders and senior management through regular reports and meetings
  • Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout all project phases and deliverables
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members, vendors, and external partners
  • Document project processes, lessons learned, and best practices for organisational knowledge
  • Maintain organised project documentation and ensure compliance with City policies and procedures

Position Description

What You’ll Bring

  • Professional experience in project management or a related field
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Prince2, Agile, or Scrum
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated experience with budget management and financial tracking
  • Proven ability to identify and manage project risks effectively
  • Proficiency with project management software (PMO365 preferred)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem-solving mindset with a detail-oriented approach
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
