Auria is looking to hire a Deputy Program Manager to support a classified mission operations program for the U.S. Space Force. This role is a key member of the program management team, responsible for ensuring execution continuity across cost, schedule, technical performance, and deliverable commitments throughout all program phases.

Primary work location is Colorado Springs, CO (hybrid). Travel to Government and Auria facilities may be required.
 
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:
 
  • Support the Program Manager in day-to-day program execution, including action tracking, CDRL draft coordination, subcontractor interface, and Government touchpoint preparation.
  • Monitor program baselines across cost, schedule, and technical performance objectives; provide early warning of variance to the Program Manager.
  • Support development and maintenance of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), coordinating milestone dependencies across technical leads and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate deliverable preparation and review across functional leads to ensure CDRL submissions meet contractual requirements and Government due dates.
  • Lead or support milestone reviews, planning sessions, and status briefings as directed by the Program Manager.
  • Manage day-to-day subcontractor coordination including performance tracking, schedule alignment, and interface with facility buildout activities.
  • Support program controls activities including cost forecasting, schedule performance tracking, risk register maintenance, and change control coordination.
  • Champion disciplined program management practices and a culture of transparency and accountability across the program team.
 
WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES:

  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Government Top SECRET security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Management, or related field.
  • 8–12 years of experience managing complex, multi-year Department of War (DoW)/federal programs involving software development, solution delivery, or system integration.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting programs with classified system boundaries, including familiarity with RMF, ATO processes, and CDRL-driven deliverable structures.
  • Experience developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules and supporting IMS-driven milestone reviews.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to operate independently within a program management team.
WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS: 
  • Current U.S. Government Top SECRET clearance.
  • Experience supporting DoW, U.S. Space Force, or Space Systems Command programs.
  • Familiarity with Agile program execution including PI planning, sprint cadences, and backlog integration with IMS-driven milestones.
  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent program management certification.
  • Experience managing programs under a Contractor Acquisition Support Office (CSO) or similar DoW acquisition vehicle.
PAY TRANSPARENCY: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $117,282 - $165,000

Pay Range: $117,282 - $165,000 per year
