Incentives such as bonuses are not guaranteed and depend on individual performance and company results. Summary:The Delivery Lead (Manager), Sales Platforms is a strategic technology leader responsible for the end-to-end delivery, evolution, and performance of Salesforce ecosystems, including Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Experience Cloud, and other Sales Software tools.This role partners with business and technology stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, Operations, and IT to deliver secure, scalable, and customer-centric solutions. The position owns delivery across the full lifecycle—from intake and design through build, release, and continuous optimization—ensuring alignment with business KPIs and enterprise architecture standards.The ideal candidate brings strong experience in Salesforce platform delivery, marketing automation, and digital customer engagement, combined with expertise in agile delivery, stakeholder management, and organizational change management.
Responsibilities:
Build and sustain a high-performance, inclusive delivery organization focused on accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Lead and mentor cross-functional teams including developers, admins, QA, business analysts, and marketing technologists.
Drive a culture of ownership across product delivery, platform health, and business outcomes.
Develop and execute a talent strategy to attract, retain, and grow digital platform expertise.
Serve as the technology owner for Sales platforms, including:
Sales Cloud (CRM, pipeline, customer lifecycle management)
Marketing Cloud (Journeys, Email, Personalization, Campaign Automation)
Experience Cloud (Customer/Partner portals, self-service experiences)
Other Sales Software (Loan/Lease Origination System, Loan Management System)
Define and manage the platform roadmap aligned to business priorities (e.g., acquisition, retention, digital engagement, collections, and entitlement journeys).
Drive platform standardization and governance across business units.
Lead modernization initiatives including API-first integrations, event-driven architecture, and automation (e.g., SFMC integrations, data flows, and orchestration).
Own delivery across the full SDLC:
Intake, business analysis, solution design
Development, testing, deployment, and release management
Post-release monitoring and continuous improvement
Ensure high-quality delivery of sales enhancements and new capabilities, Marketing automation journeys and campaigns, integrations across platforms, and third-party systems
Promote best practices in Agile delivery (Scrum / SAFe), DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments), Secure and scalable Salesforce architecture
Manage delivery portfolios through Azure DevOps (ADO) or equivalent backlog tools with clear linkage to business KPIs.
Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, Operations, Finance, and IT leadership to define priorities and deliver outcomes.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, including VP and C-level audiences.
Manage vendor and partner relationships (e.g., Salesforce, system integrators), ensuring performance, cost efficiency, and SLA adherence.
Ensure Sales platforms comply with data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
Establish and govern change management processes (CAB approvals where applicable), release management and environment strategies, data governance and access controls across Salesforce platforms
Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to platform performance, deliverability (e.g., SFMC email compliance), and integrations.
Define and monitor KPIs across platforms
Leverage data-driven insights to optimize platform capabilities and ROI.
Qualifications:
8–10+ years of experience in enterprise application delivery, including 5+ years in leadership roles.
Strong experience with Salesforce ecosystem, including Sales Cloud (CRM, pipeline, opportunity management), Marketing Cloud (Journeys, Email Studio, Automation Studio), Experience Cloud (portals, digital experiences)
Experience with other Sales software tools and workflows (credit applications, credit approval)
Proven success delivering large-scale transformations in a matrixed environment.
Strong business acumen with the ability to translate sales, marketing, and customer experience needs into technology strategies.
Experience managing vendor partners and SI engagements.
Deep understanding of Agile delivery methodologies, DevOps and CI/CD practices, Integration patterns (APIs, middleware, event-driven architecture)
Familiarity with data platforms, segmentation, and customer data architecture is an asset.
Certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, PMP, SAFe, or ITIL are preferred.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across all levels.
