Position overview
allnex invites you to join our Process Engineering team in Seremban as a Process Intern! The Process Intern will support Process Engineers in alarm system analysis, DCS data monitoring, and continuous improvement activities within the plant. Ideal for Chemical Engineering students seeking real industrial exposure.
Responsibilities
- Generate Alarm Performance Reports and Top 10 Alarm Lists using DCS data.
- Assist in rationalising and optimising alarm scopes.
- Maintain and update the Alarm Master List for allnex Seremban.
- Work with Maintenance and vendors to troubleshoot recurring alarms through logic or equipment improvements.
- Support continuous improvement and optimisation activities at the site.
Required skills and experience
- Must be available for a 6‑month internship.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of chemical processes or process control systems.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI is an advantage).
- Good communication skills for cross-department coordination.
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance.

- Pursuing a Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
