About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead our HR initiatives within our dynamic call center operations in South Africa. The ideal candidate will be a strategic partner, deeply knowledgeable in South African labor laws, and passionate about fostering a positive and productive work environment for a large and diverse team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Leadership: Shape and implement HR plans that support our company's goals, specifically for our busy call center environment.
  • Employee Relations & Engagement: Be the main point of contact for employee issues, resolving disputes and fostering a positive, high-performing culture that keeps staff motivated and reduces turnover.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Manage competitive pay and benefits packages, ensuring they align with market standards and comply with South African labor laws.
  • Compliance & Policy Management: Guarantee strict adherence to all South African labor laws (like BCEA, LRA, EEA) and develop, update, and enforce HR policies.
  • Workforce Planning & Analytics: Analyze workforce data to spot trends, address gaps, and provide data-driven recommendations to improve HR efficiency and call center operations.
  • PaySpace HRIS Management: Effectively use our HR information systems for tasks like payroll, tracking attendance, managing records, and generating reports.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of applicable labor laws and regulations in South Africa.
  • 3+ years of progressive experience as an HR Manager.
  • 2+ years of HR experience within a call center environment.
  • Comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of South African labor laws.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office.
  • BPO or call center experience mandatory
  • Night shift availability - 4 pm to 1 am SAST.
