Are you an experienced technician ready to take the next step in your career? As a Maintenance Technician I, you will play a key role in maintaining equipment reliability and supporting efficient production operations. You’ll perform maintenance tasks independently, troubleshoot equipment issues, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts while collaborating with engineers and senior technicians.
Compensation & Schedule
Starting Pay Rate: $27.95/hour (paid weekly)
Shift Differential: 10% for night shift
Schedule: Rotating 2-2-3 shift pattern (day and night shifts)
What You’ll Do
Maintain the LEGO packing equipment in appropriate conditions to ensure the production according to companies' trust and product quality by working with the team in corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance.
As beginner in mechanical, electrical, wiring, HMI, PLC knowledge and experience, programming and OT knowledge, assist in Corrective maintenance and perform preventative maintenance with guidance
Ensure daily equipment repair through preventative and corrective maintenance with guidance of lead technicians and engineers.
Be involved in continuous improvement projects (5S, PPS, RIE, Focus board, etc)
Perform preventative maintenance with support and instruction
Team communication to shift lead (deliver information using the escalation path of for shift including communication to team members and stakeholders for problems/failures in line)
Work alongside spare parts in warehouse and support MRO activities.
Problem solving using root cause analysis.
Involved in training and shadowing other technicians
Provide support, participate proactively and demonstrate leadership on QEHS in your area.
Comply with the QEHS legal requirements, standards (External / internal) and others applicable to your area.
Basic Qualifications
1 year of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Basic understanding and experience in packing equipment (PPK + FPK)
Computer knowledge (Microsoft MS Office)
Continuous improvement mindset and problem solving experience
Mechanical and electrical experience
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for training as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with conveyors, automated equipment, or packaging systems
Exposure to PLC troubleshooting (basic level)
Experience participating in root cause analysis or continuous improvement initiatives
Associates/technical degree or certificate in lieu of experience.
Experience in the following one or more of the following: Automation, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Mechanics, Electricity,
Electronics, Electric and electronic diagrams, Mechanical diagrams, roboticsCollaborative, Motivation for knowledge and development, Team Communication and team player
