Are you an experienced technician ready to take the next step in your career? As a Maintenance Technician II, you will play a key role in maintaining equipment reliability and supporting efficient production operations. In this role, you will work independently, troubleshoot equipment issues, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts while collaborating with engineers and fellow technicians.
Compensation & Schedule
Starting Pay: $31.45/hour (paid weekly)
Shift Differential: 10% for night shift
Schedule: Rotating 2-2-3 shift pattern (day and night shifts)
What You’ll Do
Ensure safe and reliable operation of production and packaging equipment
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance independently
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems with minimal supervision
Support and execute equipment changeovers and line setups
Identify equipment issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions
Accurately document maintenance work, downtime, and repairs in CMMS systems
Follow and continuously improve standard work procedures and maintenance practices
Collaborate with operators, technicians, and engineers to resolve equipment issues
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, etc.)
Assist in training and mentoring Maintenance Technician I team members
Maintain a clean and safe work environment and actively support safety initiatives
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred
2–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment independently
Experience performing preventive maintenance and documenting work orders
Basic ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
Familiarity with CMMS systems and standard computer skills
Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
Demonstrated commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for training as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with conveyors, automated systems, or packaging equipment
Basic experience with PLC troubleshooting or HMI systems
Experience participating in root cause analysis or continuous improvement initiatives
