Auria is looking to hire Senior DevSecOps Engineers to support a classified mission operations program for the U.S. Space Force. At the senior level, these engineers own complete pipeline stages, establish standards for junior team members, and provide technical mentorship as the DevSecOps team scales. Starts are staggered across the Phase 1A timeframe.

Primary work location is Colorado Springs, CO (hybrid). Travel to Government and Auria facilities may be required.
 
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:
  • Own and lead assigned DevSecOps pipeline stages, ensuring end-to-end CI/CD reliability, STIG compliance automation, and security scanning integration for assigned software teams.
  • Develop advanced pipeline capabilities including automated security validation, compliance reporting, and integrated test frameworks.
  • Implement and maintain IaC, CaC, and SaC patterns at a senior technical level; establish standards for Level III engineers.
  • Provide technical mentorship and direction to Level III DevSecOps Engineers; review pipeline contributions and ensure quality and security compliance.
  • Recommend and implement pipeline upgrades and modifications; evaluate and integrate new toolchain components as the program scales.
  • Collaborate with the Cybersecurity Lead on advanced security integration requirements and pipeline validation.
  • Support integration of pipeline metrics and delivery data into PI planning and program-level reporting.
WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES:

  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Government Top SECRET security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 8–12 years of experience in DevSecOps or infrastructure engineering on classified DoW programs.
  • Expert proficiency with GitLab, Ansible, Terraform, Nexus, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes in a classified environment.
  • Strong programming skills in Bash, YAML, Python, PowerShell, and AWS CLI or Azure CLI.
  • Demonstrated experience owning and improving CI/CD pipeline stages on a mission-critical classified program.
WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS: 
  • Current U.S. Government Top SECRET clearance.
  • Experience supporting DoW, U.S. Space Force, or Space Systems Command programs.
  • Experience in a senior technical DevSecOps role on a classified program with ATO requirements.
  • Knowledge of NIST 800-171, STIG compliance, and security-as-code implementation patterns.
  • Security+, CISSP, CKA, or equivalent senior DoW 8140 certification.
PAY TRANSPARENCY: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $122,050–$155,000

Pay Range: $122,050 - $155,000 per year
