About This Role
The Sales Coordinator serves as a key organizational and operational partner to the sales leadership team, supporting the day-to-day execution and coordination of commercial activities across the organization. Reporting directly to the VP of Sales, this role provides a blend of business coordination, operational support, and administrative execution to help ensure the sales organization operates efficiently and effectively.
This position is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, and supporting both strategic initiatives and daily operational needs. The role requires strong business professionalism, excellent communication skills, and the ability to balance administrative responsibilities with broader sales team coordination and project support.
The Sales Coordinator will work closely with sales leadership, customer experience, inside sales, and cross-functional teams to support reporting, meetings, communication, events, project follow-up, and overall organizational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Team Support
Provide day-to-day coordination and administrative support to the VP of Sales and sales leadership team
Coordinate meetings, calendars, agendas, presentations, and follow-up action items for leadership and sales team activities
Assist in preparing sales reports, presentations, KPI summaries, forecast materials, and business review documents
Help manage communication flow across the sales organization and cross-functional departments
Support tracking of initiatives, projects, deliverables, and follow-up items to help ensure timely execution
Commercial Coordination & Operations
Coordinate sales meetings, customer events, trade shows, conferences, and internal team functions
Assist with onboarding coordination for new sales team members, including scheduling, training materials, and system access
Maintain and organize sales materials, customer documentation, presentations, and shared team resources
Support CRM data management, reporting updates, and sales documentation as needed
Coordinate internal requests and communication between sales leadership and supporting departments
Administrative & Organizational Support
Manage scheduling coordination, meeting logistics, travel arrangements, and expense reporting for sales leadership as needed
Organize and maintain department files, reports, meeting notes, and internal documentation
Support preparation and distribution of recurring reports, communications, and presentations
Assist with invoice processing, purchase requests, and event-related administrative coordination
Help improve organization, communication flow, and administrative efficiency across the sales organization
Team & Culture Support
Support planning and logistics for sales training sessions, leadership meetings, and team-building activities
Assist in fostering strong communication and collaboration across the commercial organization
Serve as a dependable resource for the sales leadership team and broader sales organization
Contribute to a positive, organized, and high-performing team environment
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
3+ years of experience in sales coordination, business support, administrative coordination, operations support, or related roles
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail
Professional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Experience working with CRM systems and sales reporting tools preferred
Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment
