Job Description

Job Summary
The Quality Control team is responsible for ensuring that products meet the required quality standards before they reach customers. This includes performing inspections, conducting tests, identifying defects.
Key Responsibilities
Product Inspection and Testing:

Perform regular inspections of products both from South Korea and Ecoplastic Savannah to ensure they meet the required specifications.

Use various testing equipment and techniques to measure product quality, including visual inspections, gap and flush measurement (e.g., flush gage, gap ruler).
Monitoring Production Processes:

Monitor the manufacturing process to ensure that quality standards are maintained throughout production.

Identify areas where process improvements can be made to reduce defects and increase efficiency.
Compliance and Standards:

Ensure products and processes comply with company standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Defect Identification and Reporting:

Identify defective products, materials, or processes and take immediate corrective action (ex. leave a message to group chat).

Work with assembly teams to resolve quality issues.

Share serious quality problems to senior management and recommend corrective actions.
Documentation and Reporting:

Write daily reports on inspection results.

Previous manufacturing experience is required

1-year continuous work experience required

Ability to read and interpret work orders
-
Ability to take supervision and follow all policies and procedures

Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting.

Ability regularly lift and/or move up to 10 to 40 pounds.

Ability to constantly stand and walk on concrete floors wearing safety boots during 8-12 hour shift.

Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Knowledge of safety protocols and a commitment to a SAFETY-FIRST culture.

Flexibility to work weekends and nights.

Ability to work independently and have an attention to detail

Quality control experience is preferred
