About the Position
As a Senior SAP Transformation Consultant (m/f/d), you play a central role in shaping the digital transformation of our customers. You are responsible for cross-functional consulting regarding our customers’ future SAP strategy, including changes and innovations brought by S/4HANA, the impact on business processes, and the identification of added value and potential target architectures. This also includes recommendations for cloud strategy and the evaluation of different transformation paths. The following exciting tasks await you:
- Preparing proposals for S/4HANA preliminary studies, including methodology descriptions, cost calculations, and proposal presentations
- Conducting S/4HANA preliminary studies, including evaluation of technical scans (e.g., the SAP Readiness Check), assessment of various transformation approaches, development of business cases, design of possible target architectures, facilitation of customer workshops, creation of S/4HANA roadmaps, and effort and cost estimations
- After successful completion of the preliminary project, providing initial guidance and support for S/4HANA implementation and migration projects in complex system landscapes
- Taking on pre-sales activities, supporting sales events and customer acquisition, and actively contributing to the expansion of our cross-module SAP consulting expertise
- Conducting SAP innovation workshops on current topics such as SAP Business AI, SAP BTP, SAP Joule, BDC, Clean Core concepts, etc.
Required Skills and Experience
You have a completed university degree in (Business) Informatics, Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable field. In addition, you have at least 5–7 years of professional experience in SAP ERP consulting, for example as an SAP module consultant, SAP architect, or SAP pre-sales expert. You also cover substantial parts of the following requirements:
- Fluent German and English (spoken and written), CEF Level C1
- Experience conducting SAP S/4HANA preliminary studies and/or S/4HANA transformation projects
- Extensive experience in pre-sales, sales support, customer workshops and presentations, trade fairs, etc.
- Very good understanding of functional and technological changes in S/4HANA, the SAP S/4HANA strategy, and related cloud platforms and solutions (including the SAP Integrated Toolchain)
- Very good understanding of different migration and transformation approaches (system conversion, new implementation, selective data migration)
- Solid understanding of the latest SAP technologies such as SAP Business AI, SAP BTP, SAP Joule, BDC, Clean Core concepts, etc.
- Deep industry expertise, preferably in automotive, mechanical and plant engineering, public sector, healthcare, or defense
- On a personal level, you stand out through a customer-oriented and confident presence, and you operate comfortably even at the top management level
- Willingness to travel frequently, mainly within Germany
Further Qualifications:
- Experience with additional SAP cloud solutions (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Customer Experience)
- Understanding of underlying cloud infrastructure concepts (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Proven experience in large international SAP transformation programs
- Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP BTP)
