Your Responsibilities:
As a Senior Consultant SAP HCM Payroll (m/f/d), you will take on a key role in the digitalization of payroll processes for our customers in both the public sector and private industry. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of complex implementation projects and play a major role in the ongoing support and continuous development of SAP HCM Payroll solutions.
Working closely with HR departments, IT, and project teams, you will ensure that collective bargaining agreements and legal requirements are efficiently and reliably reflected in the system.
Your responsibilities include in particular:
- End-to-end consulting for our customers in the area of SAP HCM Payroll
- Analysis, design, and implementation of customer requirements in payroll
- Customizing, including payroll schemas and rules
- Implementation of collective agreements and legal regulations (e.g., TVöD, TV-L, civil service law)
- Conducting workshops, best practice presentations, and user training sessions
- Creating functional concepts, technical specifications, and documentation
- Contributing to proposals and quality assurance
- Supporting the development of junior consultants
- Taking on (partial) project management responsibilities
Your Profile:
You hold a degree in business administration, (business) informatics, industrial engineering, or have comparable experience. In addition, you bring the following qualifications:
- At least five years of experience as an SAP HCM Consultant with a focus on Payroll in end-to-end customer projects in the public sector and/or private industry
- In-depth expertise in payroll accounting (including taxes and social security)
- Hands-on experience with independent customizing of the SAP HCM PY module
- Knowledge of dependencies with time management (PT), organizational management (OM), personnel administration, finance and controlling (FI/CO), ABAP, and SAP HR cloud applications
- Strong analytical skills, excellent consulting capabilities, and a structured working approach
- Experience with project management standards and agile methodologies
- Very good German skills (at least C1) and good English skills (at least B2)
