About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Category Purchaser to join our Global Supply team. In this role, you will drive efficient procurement and supplier management by executing sourcing activities, ensuring optimal cost, quality, and delivery performance. You will play a key role in strengthening supplier relationships, supporting business goals, and delivering long-term cost competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Supplier Management
Execute procurement activities for assigned categories and suppliers in line with cost, quality, and delivery targets
Lead annual price negotiations and maintain accurate pricing and item master data in ERP systems
Define and implement sourcing and supply strategies with cross-functional teams (quality, logistics, engineering, etc.)
Drive long-term cost reduction initiatives and support sourcing projects
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring performance in delivery reliability, quality, and lead times
Identify and evaluate new suppliers based on market trends and business needs
Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and contractual standards
Business & Operational Support
Support sales and cost estimation with sourcing insights
Monitor inventory levels to maintain healthy working capital and operational efficiency
Collaborate with internal stakeholders across procurement, logistics, engineering, and customer service
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
2–5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain
Experience working with ERP systems (Infor LN is a plus)
Strong proficiency in MS Office tools
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to make fact-based decisions
Excellent negotiation and influencing skills in a global matrix organization
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
Proactive, solution-oriented, and highly committed
Strong communication skills with fluency in English
