Senior Solution Architect – North America
About the Role
T-Systems Digital Solutions is expanding its presence in North America, providing cutting-edge digital solutions for both T-Mobile US and large US enterprises across all markets. We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Solution Architect to join our Seattle-based team. This key role will work closely with Customer Success and Sales functions, playing a pivotal part in pre-sales activities, customer demand analysis, and solution design. The Solution Architect is responsible for architecting robust, scalable, and delivery-ready solutions based on our Digital Solutions standard offerings and partner frameworks, ensuring full delivery capability within defined delivery locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical leader during pre-sales engagements, collaborating with Customer Success Managers and Sales to understand customer needs and translate them into viable digital solutions.
- Build Solutions for various Industry vertical including Auto/Manufacturing, Health, Telecom, Aerospace & Defense with horizontal capabilities including AI/Data, IoT, Automation and Application Modernization. This may require collaboration with Vertical/Horizontal SPOCs based in Germany.
- Conduct in-depth customer demand analysis, requirements gathering, and solutioning across a broad portfolio of digital solutions and vertical market offerings.
- Design and propose end-to-end solutions leveraging T-Systems Digital Solutions’ standard offerings, partner frameworks, and best practices.
- Ensure all proposed solutions are fully deliverable within the specified delivery locations, considering operational, technical, and resource constraints.
- Lead technical presentations, workshops, and discussions with customer stakeholders, including C-level executives, to articulate solution value and differentiation.
- Collaborate with delivery, product, and partner teams to validate solution feasibility and ensure seamless handover from pre-sales to delivery.
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings to inform solution strategy and maintain a leading-edge approach.
- Support the development of proposals, statements of work, and architectural documentation.
- Mentor junior architects and contribute to the continuous improvement of solutioning methodologies and frameworks
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, pre-sales engineering, or enterprise IT consulting, with a strong track record in digital transformation projects.
- Deep expertise in designing and architecting solutions across multiple technology domains, such as cloud, IoT, cybersecurity, data analytics, and enterprise applications.
- Demonstrated experience working with a broad portfolio of solutions and vertical industries.
- Strong knowledge of partner ecosystems and frameworks; experience integrating partner solutions is a plus.
- Proven ability to engage with customers at all levels, including C-suite, to understand business needs and present complex technical solutions clearly.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in or with global, matrixed organizations.
- Must be a US citizen or landed resource authorized to work in the US.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Salary :
- Base Range: $153,000 - $169,000
