Responsibilities
- Manage procurement activities for indirect materials, MRO supplies, consumables, office supplies, spare parts, and floor stock items used in NW rack manufacturing environment.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders including Manufacturing, Engineering, Warehouse, Facilities, and Finance teams to support operational requirements.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure stable supply, competitive pricing, and service quality.
- Monitor supplier delivery performance, quality issues, and inventory levels to minimize production disruptions.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels for frequently used materials and support inventory optimization initiatives.
- Create and manage purchase orders, invoices, delivery documentation, and procurement records in ERP systems.
- Escalate and resolve supply-related issues including shortages, delivery delays, quality concerns, and urgent operational requests.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to procurement processes, cost savings, inventory control, and supplier management.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and audit requirements.
- Prepare procurement reports, data analysis, and other documentation as required.
- Perform other duties and projects assigned by management.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of purchasing or procurement experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within electronics, EMS, PCBA, or high-tech industries.
- Strong knowledge of indirect procurement, MRO purchasing, and inventory management practices.
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and procurement-related transactions.
- Strong supplier management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of procurement processes, documentation, and cost control principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing and office environment.
- Flexibility to support business needs, including occasional overtime, weekend support, or business travel when required
