High School Teacher (2026-2027 Applicant Pool)

This is a general posting for High School Teachers  (grade 9-12) for the 2026-2027 school year, designed to collect applications for an applicant pool.  There is currently no specific open position, nor are any guaranteed. 
 

Lago Vista High School is a premier high school in one of the most sought after locations in the Texas Hill Country. Our faculty enjoy state of the art labs, classrooms, cafeteria, auditorium, gymnasium, and weight room/field house. 

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from accredited university
Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training for subject and level assigned
Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area

Competitive Salary: To be determined by breadth of experience and the LVISD Salary Schedule
