The School of Education
We are offering our Year 2 UG students a summer research internship scheme, which is exclusive to DU School of Education students.
- The summer research internship scheme is a research bursary aimed at supporting small scale research projects conducted by students.
- Year 2 Durham BA Education Studies and BA Primary Education students are eligible and encouraged to apply for the research internship scheme.
- A maximum of 2 fully funded internships will be awarded yearly. The proposed research activity will be conducted and completed during the summer period (July to September 2025).
- The internship provides funding for 50 hours (i.e., 5 hours per week for 10 weeks. However, the time period can differ depending on the project).
The summer research internship scheme is supervisor led, and will fund empirical or conceptual research projects that match the research interests of both the SoE academic supervisor and student-researcher.
