Responsibilities

Summer School Academic (Pre-Sessional Teacher)  Casual Grade 6

Under instruction and following appropriate training: Prepare and deliver EAP classes using the materials provided Engage with the course content and all reading texts set to students Give timely, effective individual feedback on students' assignments Work closely with colleagues to assess student work Attend weekly teachers’ meetings Maintain accurate records of work and assessment Maintain knowledge and understanding of the demands and conventions of study in higher education and how these may differ across the disciplines Engage in peer and evaluative observations Work effectively with Microsoft office, Durham’s VLE and other learning technologies as required
