Job Description
Course Mentor for Microeconomic Analysis (ECN-280) with Professor Brouhle
This position will mentor for both sections of ECN-280. The courses meet Monday/Wednesday/Friday 10-10:50 AM and 11-11:50 AM. You must have previously taken and successfully passed this course to be considered.
The student serves as a positive academic and social resource to others by promoting academic success, persistence and providing direction to appropriate services and staff. Must be able to maintain confidentiality with shared information and possess strong interpersonal and creative problem solving skills.
Duties:
Academic Success Center Mentors attend class, meet with supervising professor, create lesson plans, and facilitate weekly mentor sessions for students in that class. This totals a maximum of 8 hours per week.
