Job Description
(A) Locum Occupational Therapist
(B) Locum Occupational Therapist in Specialized Service
Hospital Authority (HA) is recruiting Locum Occupational Therapist and Locum Occupational Therapist in Specialized Service on hourly pay rate from time to time for addressing short-term operation or ad-hoc manpower needs.
We welcome eligible Occupational Therapist to register your information and work preferences for providing part-time services in public hospitals of HA. Upon successful registration, you will be informed by the Locum Office. Should there be any locum job suitable for you, the Locum Office will contact you for the detailed job arrangement.
Pay
The pay rates are on hourly basis.
(A) Locum Occupational Therapist
According to your relevant experience and duty hours, the hourly rate can be up to HK$349.
(B) Locum Occupational Therapist in Specialized Service
According to your relevant experience and duty hours, the hourly rate can be up to HK$533.
Key Responsibilities
(A) Locum Occupational Therapist
Provide occupational therapy service in general clinical setting independently
(B) Locum Occupational Therapist in Specialized Service
Provide occupational therapy service in special clinical setting independently
Requirements
(A) Locum Occupational Therapist
1. A B.Sc./ B.Sc. (Hons) Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
2.Be registered as an Occupational Therapist of the Register of the Occupational Therapists under the Supplementary Medical Professions Ordinance and have a valid Practicing Certificate issued by the Occupational Therapists Board, Hong Kong.
3. Fluency in written English and Chinese as well as spoken English and Cantonese
(B) Locum Occupational Therapist in Specialized Service
1. A Master Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
2. Be registered as an Occupational Therapist in Part I of the Register of the Occupational Therapists under the Supplementary Medical Professions Ordinance.
3. Have a valid Practicing Certificate issued by the Occupational Therapists Board, Hong Kong
4. Experience in performing specialized service and supervising junior staff in public hospitals
5. Fluency in written English and Chinese as well as spoken English and Cantonese
1. Details of work hours and work schedule are subject to the final confirmation by Head of Department, Unit or Section and to be mutually agreed.
2. The arrangement of pre-employment checks is exempted or streamlined for leavers rejoining HA as locum staff as per prevailing practice.
