General office duties such as:
- Greets visitors and provides information.
- Answers basic general questions and route visitors to the appropriate campus resource.
- Answers phones and routes calls.
- Sorts and delivers mail/packages throughout the office.
- Accurately files paperwork, makes copies, and compiles documents.
- Schedules student appointments and checks students in/out.
- Participates in appropriate training and staff meetings.
- Plans and supports logistics related to workshops and programming.
Other Duties
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Additional Job Description
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be a full-time student at Florida Gulf Coast University, at the time of hire and throughout the appointment.
- Have a minimum GPA 2.5 and in good conduct standing with the University.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in an office setting.
- Experience operating a personal computer and proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Publisher).

- Knowledge of campus resources and departments.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to accurately prepare and maintain records, files, and reports.
