The Institute for the Environment is searching for a self-motivated person to fill the position of Assistant Project Officer.
The appointee will assist the Project Coordinator or his designates in coordinating with various task leaders to facilitate the research; providing all aspects of administrative support to the project team in project management, administration, budgetary work, and liaison with external and internal parties; organizing events and meetings; and performing any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Applicants should have a bachelor's degree with at least 1 year of administrative work experience. Candidates with at least Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSE or 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A or level 2 if results were obtained from 2007 onwards), Chinese and Mathematics plus 3 years of administrative work experience will also be considered. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint); a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese; detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility; and the ability to work both independently and as a team player are required. Proven experience in project management will be an advantage. (Duration: 1 year, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.
